Nino’s Bio
My name is Nino Savona. I was born in Schenectady NY on June 28, 1970. I was born 3 months premature which resulted in me being disabled, walking only with the aid of crutches. Doctors told me I would never be able to walk on my own. As a result, I wanted not only to prove that their prognosis was wrong, but also prove that I could do much, much more than just walk and that I could become a champion athlete.
At age 14 I started weight training to build strength in my legs & upper body. I never knew that this was only the start of many accomplishments I would reach by perservering through a physical disability that many people thought that was impossible to overcome. My mission is to help people acheive their fitness goals without making up excuses, no matter what their current physical condition
