My Thoughts On Creatine

Hey my friend! Gee what’s this I see…. is that a smile on your face! Yeah Nino I actually couldn’t wait to get here today, and tell you the good news! Gee my friend I’ve never seen you this excited before, it must be something incredible! Gee don’t keep me in suspense my friend! So what’s the good news?? Ok Nino I’m sorry! Well Nino remember our discussion we had last week on “Diet Pills”! Gee I sure do my friend! Actually it’s still fresh in my mind!

Gee Nino it’s like I’ve been telling you over and over again! Nino you know how to put things in the right perspective, to where people would have no choice but to follow your advise!Gee my friend why do I have a feeling that this has something, to do with your sister taking diet pills! Well Nino your right again! Gee Nino my sister did exactly what you advised her to do with the pills! I’m sorry my friend could you refresh my memory on exactly what I advised, your sister and everyone else to do with the pills!

Gee Nino no problem! We’ve  covered so many topics so far it would even… be hard for me to remember every little detail! Nino your advise was to put the diet pills down the drain and that’s exactly, what my sister did without any hesitation! Nino my family and I can’t thank you enough for helping my sister realize, that her taking diet pills was definitely not the right avenue for her to take any longer! Nino I’m happy to say she is now taking you’re ”The No Excuse Avenue” to getting that dream body!

Well my friend you just made my day! I feel like a broken record telling you this over and over again, but this is the main reason why God has me on this mission! Simply to help educate and motivate you without, making any excuses whatsoever in your life! Listen if you really want to thank someone you should be thanking God, for bringing me those special people in my life to have made Nino’s Mission possible!

Ok my friend now that I cleared that up again to you! I think we should really get to our next topic of discussion today! Gee Nino I’m sorry I’ve been doing alot of talking and I’m taking all your time today! My friend don’t ever think that your wasting my time! Listen remember my mission is all about helping you, and I’m so glad that I was able to help your sister!

I’m ready Nino!

Well my friend I thing were going to approach things, a little different today than we usually do! Gee ok Nino so what do you have in mind? Well my friend I think I’m going to leave our next topic of discussion… completely up to you! We can discuss anything that you’ve been wanting to ask me about! Gee Nino that’s funny that you would say that because there is something that’s been on my mind, that I wanted to get your thoughts on!

Well Nino I know that we discussed supplements a while back, and let me just tell you I’ve learned alot about them thanks to you! Nino I actually wanted to ask you your thoughts, on taking creatine? Nino I figured before I go out to buy a jug of it, I wanted to ask what your thoughts were on taking creatine? Nino I definitely don’t want waste my money if it’s something I don’t need! Well my friend it’s like I’ve been telling you, you’ve matured so much since we’ve been together!

 Believe or not my friend taking the right supplements today, is not an easy task for anyone to figure out on their own! For instance just when you think you got a handle on all the supplements out there today, they come out with a whole bunch more that we need to do research on! Listen taking supplements today my friend, is like weight training we learn new things everyday! Well that being said my friend it would be my pleasure to give you my thoughts on creatine, and wether it’s something that you need to be taking!

So my friend in my next blog I’m going to tell you my thoughts, as well as some advantages and disadvantages that you can expect to occur when taking creatine! Ok my friend what I’m about to tell you next, might really surprise you so have your ears wide open! Gee Nino what is it?? Well after I give you my thoughts on creatine my friend I’m going to leave it, completely up to you if you want to give it a try!

Nino the only reason why I ask is because everything that we’ve discussed about supplements so far, you’ve steered me away from using alot of them! Well my friend this is the one time that your going to, be making the choice not “me”!

Here we go again!

Ok my friend! First let me explain to you why I said your going to be making the final choice… on wether you want to take creatine or not! Well my friend It’s simply because I’ve been taking creatine, as part of my diet ever since I started to weight train! Believe or not my friend creatine is an important part of our daily supplementation! Just like we need our daily protein requirements alot of people don’t know, we also need to get enough creatine in our diets as well! 

Gee Nino I really didn’t expect you to talk about creatine so highly! Well my friend don’t get used to it because this will probaby be, the one and only time that you’ll hear me talk like this about a supplement! Believe or not my friend creatine can be taken alot of different ways! My friend I bet you’ve been taken creatine all along in your daily meals, and you probably didn’t even know it!

Gee Nino I thought creatine can only be found… in health food stores! Nino I thought that creatine only can be taken ….. in powder or pill form! Yeah my friend that is definitely true….. but it can also be found in food! Let me give you some examples, of the types of food I’m talking about! Well let’s see creatine can be found in chicken and red meat! I know how some people feel about ….. eating alot of red meat today! They simply avoid eating too much of it as possible! Well I got news for you all start eating more red meat in your diet! It’s the best natural source of creatine that you can possibly, have today in your diet! Oh might I also add my friend that it’s healthy for us as well!

Gee Nino I think I’m beginning to understand why your going to leave, the decision, totally  up to me wether or not I want to try creatine or not! Gee Nino believe or not I’ve been already eating, alot of red meat and chicken in my diet!

Ok my friend now it’s time to tell you some advantages your going to see by taking creatine! Well for starters your going to see an increase in your strength as well as your size! I have a feeling this next one is really going to surprise you! Believe or not my friend creatine will help your muscles, recover alot quicker after an intense workout! Gee Nino I didn’t know that…. I guess I’m learning alot today!

Listen my friend all in all creatine is safe to take…. like I said it’s found in red meat and chicken! God knows I eat lots of chicken and red meat on a daily basis! Gee Nino from the sounds of it creatine, is more than ok for anyone to take today! Nino I remember you stating earlier their were some disadvantages as well, but I didn’t hear you mention any! 

Gee Nino you were just kidding right??

Gee my friend don’t get so excited!! I’m about to tell you the disadvantages right now… so keep your ears wide open! Actually my friend I’m going to go back to where you stated to me earlier, that creatine could only be taken in powder or pill form! Well this is where the disadvantages…. come into play my friend!

Well if you decide to take creatine in powder or pill form instead…. you can expect this to happen! Let’s start with the powder form! My friend taking creatine using powder you will find it contains alot of artificial sugars! Which as we all know will be turned into fat! My friend here’s one more for you….  you will gain alot of water weight as well! Gee Nino I definitely don’t want that to happen to me! Well that’s what you can expect my friend… if you decide to go the powder route!

Ok my friend now on to the pill form! Well my friend as you now know from our last discussion we had on taking diet pills, we have to be deeply concerned about the side effects! I’ll be totally honest with you I’ve never taken creatine by pill, so I really don’t know about the side effects they can cause! I can probably can tell you one thing my friend that I’m sure of…. the effects can’t be good for you!

Well there you have it my friend…. my thoughts on creatine! I certainly hope that I was able to help you decide, how you want to go about taking it! Gee Nino I think the decision is pretty easy to make! Gee my friend if you don’t mind me asking…..what might that be?? Nino I’m going to continue to take creatine naturally by continuing to eat alot of red meat and chicken! Well my friend it’s like I’ve been telling you! You’ve definitely matured quite a bit and this is another good reason why…… great decision!!

My Thoughts On Diet Pills

Hey it’s great to see you back my friend! Wait a minute I can see a look of concern on your face today, if I recall that wasn’t the case last week! My friend is everything ok?? Gee Nino I’m sorry! I don’t mean to bring the mood down today, I’ve been dealing with some family problems at home! My friend is it something that I might be able to help you with? Remember I’m here to help you with any issues or situations… that you might be struggling with in your life! Let’s face it my friend if life didn’t have it’s up’s and downs… our lives would be boring!

 I’ve learned one thing my friend! God allows certain issues and situations to occur in our lives, only for these reasons! They are simply to educate and strengthen us so we become better prepared, in how to handle them when more come our way! Ok my friend I thought by sharing that with you…..it might help ease your mind on your situation a little!

Gee thanks Nino! Don’t mention it my friend…. so what’s up??

Actually Nino it has absolutely nothing to do with me! It’s my sister that I’m worried about! Gee my friend is she ok?? Gee Nino I don’t know! Nino I guess I should fill you in, on what’s going on! Yeah please do I want to help in anyway that I can! Ok Nino because I could really use your help, and your thoughts on how to help my sister deal with a weight issue that she’s struggling with! Well Nino a couple of days ago my mom was up in my sisters room, and she found a bottle of diet pills under her bed!

If you don’t mind me asking my friend…. is your sister overweight?? Actually Nino as a matter of fact she’s not! Gee Nino she goes to the gym everyday weight trains and does cardio for about 30 minutes! Nino my family is very concerned about her, beause my sister has convinced herself of the fact that she’s overweight! Gee Nino she weighs about 120lbs but she’s all muscle! Nino my mom even took her to talk to a nutritionist and she flat out told her…. to stop taking the diet pills! Nino my sister won’t listen to reason! Nino my family truly feels my sister has become, addicted in taking these diet pills!

Gee Nino I know I’ve asked you alot of favors so far, but it would mean alot to me personally if you could try to get through to my sister! Nino it’s like I’ve been telling you time and time again, you know how to put things in the right perspective to make anyone want to follow your advice on things! Gee Nino I just know that you’ll be able to convince my sister, to stop taking these diet pills!

Ok my friend stop right there you don’t have to say anything further! Listen how many times do I have to make it clear to you! God has me on this mission to help educate and motivate you in certain areas, of your life that you might need help in! Furthermore and most important end those excuses in your life!! Ok now that we cleared that up, let’s get back to the business at hand my friend!

 I truly believe our next discussion today on diet pills are going to have alot of users, rethink their strategy in how their going about acheiving that dream body! I truly feel that more and people in our society have become hooked on taking diet pills, truly believing that they are the solution to getting the body of their dreams!

Well I have news for you my friend …. your dreams are about to be shattered! Simply because diet pills have become nothing more than another avenue, of excuses that people in our society are taking in hopes of getting that dream body! Well I see one major problem with that avenue my friend! It’s simply going to lead you to a dead end…. and I’m about to shed some light in why I feel that way!

In my next blog I’m going to give you my thoughts, on this potential dangerous drug! That’s right my friend I said dangerous! I mean if you actually think just because diet pills are sold over the counter, that they cannot pose a danger to your health or even be fatal you couldn’t be more wrong!! I’m also going to tell you some dangerous side effects these diet pills will have on you both physically and mentally!

 Believe or not my friend, your already showing some mental signs! Which is simply “addiction”!! I truly hope I will be able to convince you of the simple fact, that diet pills are not the avenue for you or anyone for that matter to take any longer!

Here comes your new avenue to getting…. the body of your dreams!

Well my friend as I stated to you earlier the use of diet pills, are taken by more people in our society today than ever before! I truly feel that the majority of the people who take these diet pills today are teenage girls! The main reason why I feel this way is simply of the mere fact, that more and more teenage girls today are battling with an eating disorder in their lives! So they feel the best way to curb their appetite so they won’t eat as much, or for that matter eat at all is to take these diet pills! The thing that concerns me is their not even thinking, of the health dangers these type of pills can cause them!

Gee Nino I’m not trying to be funny here! Nino if diet pills are sold over the counter why do you feel their so dangerous to take?? Well my friend I’m about to tell you some dangerous side effects, that are associated with taking these pills! Well for starters some people take more than are indicated in the directions, truly believing if they take more they’ll get that dream body quicker! Well my friend if you actually believe that is true I think you’ve been watching, too many of these diet pill commercials that are on television today!

Listen my friend I’m not trying be humorous here, diet pills are not candy they can lead to serious health issues! Let me just run off one for you because I think that’s all the convincing, your going to need to stop taking them once and for all! Well I think the most serious and most common one is as I stated earlier “addiction”!

Think of diet pills like smoking cigarettes! Alot of people who smoke get addicted to nicotine which will lead, some people to smoke a whole pack in one day! Well my friend I don’t think I have to tell you, what comes along with smoking so much! Ok in case you’ve forgotton my friend I believe the dangerous illness is lung cancer! Which I believe is the #1 leading cause of death today in our society!

 My friend the message I’m trying to send to you here is simply this! Diet pills should be treated like a prescription drug! They should only be taken by you if it’s approved by your physician, and only take as much as your physician recommends! So my friend in a nutshell if the diet pills are not prescribed, by your physician for you to take simply don’t take them!

 Listen my friend don’t try to be your own doctor! Taking diet pills are no joke if you continue to treat them like candy, and take more than is recommended you will find youself overdosing on the drug! I don’t think I have to tell you what the consquences are for you if that happens!

Listen my friend I have the perfect solution to your problem! First of all why not do yourself a favor! Gee Nino what might that be?? My friend why not take those diet pills and put them, where they really belong….. down the drain!! I’m not at all trying to be funny here because that’s exactly, where they would do the most good! They certainly do not belong in your system any longer!!

 My friend I have a much better and safer avenue for you! Would you like to hear it?? Gee Nino of course I definitely don’t want to continue going, on this dangerous avenue any longer! Ok Great! I have a feeling your going to be very familiar with this avenue! Which is simply what I’ve been telling you since day one of my mission…… “The No Excuse Avenue”!! 

Like I’ve stated to you before my friend and I will continue, to tell you which is simply this! There is no such thing as a “miracle pill” today…. but there is a “No Excuse Pill”! I take one everyday as directed! I strongly recommend that you start taking one as well! I promise you it’s 100% safe for you to take with absolutely…. no dangerous side effects to worry about!!

How To Increase Your Bench Press

Hello my friend! I’m really glad to see you again! I have to tell you I got up this morning, and both of my ears were ringing! There’s a saying that were all aware of which says…. when your ears are ringing someone is usually talking about you! So my friend I have to ask the question! Were you talking about me to someone…. on the way here today?? Gee Nino as a matter of fact I was, but trust me it was all good things!

Actually Nino I was talking to a friend of mine on the way here today…. and we were reading your particular blog on how you set The State and National Bench Press Record! Nino my friend couldn’t believe how much, you bench pressed for your body weight! Nino he even asked me if you were taking steroids, when all this occured! Gee Nino I was actually kind of caught off guard, with him asking me this! Actually my friend I’m not at all surprised I still get asked, that same question today by many people! So my friend I’m curious to know what you told him? Gee Nino I think your going to like my answer…. to your question!

Well Nino I basically told my friend that he should go back, and read your blog on your thoughts on steroid use! Well my friend I’m very impressed on how you handled the situation! Let me just say to you this is mainly why God has me on this mission! God not only wants me to share with you my life story and the accomplishments, that I have been able to achieve with my disability! God also want’s me to give you my thoughts on certain issues that people in our society, might be struggling with in their lives! Furthermore give them guidance to help…. them make the right choice!

Gee Nino it’s funny that you would say this because my friend, has been really struggling with trying to increase his bench press! Nino my friend wanted me to ask you if you could help and tell him how he could increase his bench?? Well my friend I believe you just gave me, the next topic of our discussion today! I would be more than happy to help your friend in an area, that I feel alot of guys struggle with today!

 I’ll be totally honest with you I also struggled, with trying to increase my bench press for a period of time as well! I definitely don’t want you to think I just got down, on the bench one day and pressed 300lbs right off the bat! There was a special training method I used that helped me, get to that point!

So in my next blog I’m going to tell you all about that special training method, I used and you will be using now also to increase your bench safely!! I truly believe this method will surprise you because I was able to increase my bench considerably, without having to train heavy to do it! Gee Nino I’m not trying to be funny here but how can you, expect to increase your bench if you don’t train with the heavy weight! Well my friend I think it’s time you get out your pen and pad, once again because I’m about to tell you how it’s done! Oh and might I add without the risk of you getting injured in the process! God only knows I’ve seen many guys injure themselves, while trying to increase their bench!

Here we go again!

Well for starters my friend there’s a common belief out there in order to be able, to lift the heavy weight we need to train as heavy as possible! Well I’m sorry to disappoint you but that belief is absolutely false! The only thing that this method will accomplish, is seriously increasing your chances of getting injured! I hate to see anyone have their training career, cut short because of an injury that could have been avoided!

Well my friend I have a much better method for you to follow! It’s not only guaranteed to work for you but also, has absolutely no risk of causing serious injury to yourself! Would you like to know… on what that method might be?? Gee Nino of course!! Everything you’ve gave me advice on so far has worked for me, and I know it’s also going to work for my friend!

Ok my friend! Get ready to write down some valuable information, that’s guaranteed to increase your bench! Let’s see your going to do two basic chest excercises that your very familiar with, and probably are doing now in your chest routine! The only thing your going to be doing different is your going to be using, that special training method that helped me along with God set the bench press record! You will be using this method for about 4-6 weeks in your chest routine! After which my friend get ready to be blown away…. to see your bench increase “big time”!!

Well my friend here’s the routine! First you will start on the flat bench and you will put a weight on the barbell, that you can easily do 12-15 reps with doing four sets total! Then on to the second exercise… the incline barbell press! Again use a weight that you can easily do 12-15 reps, doing again four sets total! Now there’s a good reason why I’m telling you this! Would you like to the reason?? Gee Nino what do you think of course! Well ok usually when anyone bench presses their taught to bring the bar, down to their chest then press the bar up! Yeah Nino that’s how I’ve been doing it! Well my friend not anymore!

For the next 4-6 weeks you are going to be using, that special training method when you bench! This method is simply called “pause reps” which is purposely designed…. to increase your bench press strength! This method is used in bench press competitions where you must pause the bar, on your chest for three seconds before pressing the weight up! If I recall I did that very thing, when I set the record! So your going to be doing the exact same thing, with the two chest exercises I’ve given you! 

My friend your going to quickly find out when you pause the bar, on your chest for those three seconds the weight is going to feel much heavier than it is! This is the main reason why your using a weight that you can easily handle, because those “pause reps” are really going to challenge you!!

Listen my friend this method is going to take some time, for you to get used to doing but like I said it’s guaranteed to work for you! It’s like anything else we try new for the first time! Just think of this special training method, like learning to ride a bike for the very first time! As we know the more times we ride, the better we become and the training wheels come off! All I’m saying my friend the more pause reps you do, the stronger your bench will become! All I know this method has worked for me and I know… it will work for you as well! Oh might I also add without any injuries or excuses… along the way!!

My Thoughts On Doing Cardio

Good day my friend! It’s always a pleasure to see you! Actually I was up bright and early this morning before the birds…. to do my cardio! I find doing my cardio first thing in the morning, allows me to have more energy and stamina to help get me through my busy day! I feel it is important to maintain a good cardio routine, along with weight training and proper nutrition in order to stay in peek condition year round!

Usually in the off-season I like to keep my cardio to about 4-5 days a week for about 30 minutes! I either use the treadmill or the stepper, depending on how my legs are feeling that morning! I find by doing this it helps me stay lean, and keeps my legs strong! That is extremely important for me, being that I’m constantly on my crutches all day long!

Gee where are my manners my friend! I got so caught up in talking about my cardio routine, I didn’t even ask you how your doing today! Gee Nino it’s kinda funny that you brought up your cardio routine, because I wanted to ask you your thought’s on doing cardio! Nino I figured I would ask you first before, I put cardio into my daily workout routine! Nino could I ask a couple of questions about doing cardio? First of all I’m very pleased that your asking my advise on cardio first, before you went ahead to do it!

Ok what quetions do you have for me? Well first Nino how much cardio should I start off with? Also Nino how many days a week should I start off with? First of all my friend you’ve matured alot in your training, since we’ve been together! My hat goes off to you… well done! Gee Nino how can you say I’ve matured…. I’ve only started training serious for a couple of months! Well my friend the answer is pretty simple!

Basically your starting to ask my opinion on things, before you go ahead and do it! An example I can give you to prove to you of what I’m talking about here…. is the discussion we had a while back on supplements! If you think back you went and purchased alot of supplements that you knew very little about, and for that matter you didn’t even need without coming to me first!That right there tells me sure signs of maturity! Gee Nino I get what your saying now, I guess I have matured a little bit!

Well I guess we know the topic of our next discussion, because cardio is an important part of your daily training regime! In my next blog I’m going to answer your questions because I feel alot of people go overboard, when it comes to doing cardio today! The common belief that people have today, is the more cardio they do the better! Well I’m going to tell you my thoughts…. on what I think about that belief!

Well my friend are you ready… to get your heart rate up??

Here we go again!

Well I guess I’ll start off my answering your questions, let me say they are the most imporant answers to know before starting any kind of cardio routine! Ok my friend lets take your first question! How much cardio should you start off with? Well let me first say this particular question…. is the most asked by all my clients! Usually the amount of cardio will depend on your fitness level! Since your just starting out I would recommend, that you do the following! I recall when I first started doing cardio, I began doing no more than 10 mins on the treadmill with no incline! I strongly would reccommend that you start there as well!

The main reason why you should start slow is because…. you need to build up your cardiovascular endurance! Basically starting a cardio program for the very first time, is like starting a workout routine for the very first time! It’s impossible for anyone to get on a piece of cardio equipment for their very first time and do 30 minutes straight right off the bat!

Listen my friend it took me nearly a month, to build my cardiovascular endurance to be able to run 30 minutes straight! I’ve seen way to many times where people jump the gun, for their first time doing cardio and do way too much! The proof is just by seeing how heavy their breathing and how red their faces become! I’m certainly not trying to be funny here, but some of these people look like thier getting ready to run in “The Boston Marathon”!

Listen all I’m tring to say here you can’t expect to run a marathon, if you don’t build your cardiovascular endurance first! I truly believe the only and safe way to go about doing that is, graudually increasing your speed and time as you see your cardiovascular endurance improving! There is no need to rush things we all need to be realistic, about setting a fitness goals!

Well my friend I hope I was able to answer your first question! Gee Nino not only did you answer my question, but you really know how to put things in the right perspective! Nino I’m definitely going to take your advice and start slow because I know whatever you tell me, is only going to benefit me in acheiving my fitness goals safely!! Well my friend that makes my mission so much easier, hearing you say that to me! Like I said in the beginning you have matured alot, and this is another prime example of what I’m talking about!

Ok now on to your second question! How many days a week should you start with! That is another important answer to know because many people are under the impression, when doing cardio that quanity is better than quality! Well my friend I have news for you that’s absolutely false! It’s like I’ve been telling you everyone needs to work there way up, to a certain fitness level before increasing any kind of cardio activities! That being said I would reccommend that you start doing three days a week…. and graually work your way up to four! Let me tell you that is more than enough, for you to start with my friend!

Well I think that pretty much covers it! Is there anything else you would like to ask me regarding cardio?? Gee Nino I think you pretty much answered, all my questions in a nutshell! Nino it’s like I said you know how to put things in the right context, to where it’s a no-brainer in what direction to follow! If you don’t mind me asking my friend…. what direction is that??
