					<description>Nino,

You are a champion.

I applied for the ARMY reserve last year and was knocked back for 2 reasons one of which was a high BMI (ie too fat).

I was quite annoyed by my failed application, nevertheless I started a rigorous training regime and with the right info (thanks to Tom Venuto) I made significant improvements until................I injured my foot. The injury is commonly known as 'Policeman's Heel' and apparently it happens to people like me in their late 30's who take up running.

I was on crutches for 3 weeks and lost some of the progress that I made earlier. Now I haven't gone back to the fat level I had previously but it would have been better to keep going.

To me your website is like a smack in the head. It's inspirational and I plan to come back again to read some more. I will never EVER make excuses again, bad foot or otherwise.

Cheers

					<description>Hey Nino,

I see you at Gold's Gym in Clifton Park every week. It's a laugh seeing some people flop around on the machines and put on 5 or 10 lbs and not really care about their workout... then I look over and see you &lt;i&gt;pushing the envelope&lt;/i&gt;. Rock on buddy. I'm sure you've come to love lactic acid just about as much as I have.

I am training for something. I don't know what it is yet, but I run 5-6 miles daily and stretch/lift for an hour after that. There's something good about the sauna, too... so I go there for 20 minutes after the physical exercise to slow down and chill out.

I am glad to hear why you're motivated. I wanted to tag your blog with this:

God Bless You Brother,
